The Orinoco Delta

To get to the destination in the Orinoco Delta it involved an 8-hour journey by speedboat. At the beginning everyone seems to be enjoying it. The boats racing each other. During the journey we passed through many storms. The hotel where we slept.

The Journey to Kamarata

A plaque commemorating Jimmi Angel who discovered the Angel Falls. The aeroplane Jimmi flew when he discovered the falls (Now outside the airport in Cuidad Bolivar). For our trip we flew in cessnas. The river leading to the Angel Falls The top of Auyan Tepuy

Kamarata

Auyan Tepuy The village where we started our boat journey to the Angel Falls. Once dried out, these seeds will be used to make jewelry. The boat heading towards a small rapid



The Journey to Angel Falls

Angel Falls

First glimpse of Angel Falls A clear sky and full moon enabled us to see the Angel Falls in the middle of the night. The top of Angel Falls Angel Falls - the initial drop is 807 metres. Total height is 979 metres.
